KT200II Package List: Auto, Full and Offline Compared

Updated: 8 October 2026 · By: ECU Tool Store · Scope: KT200II edition and package selection.

Choose KT200II Auto for supported car and truck jobs. Choose Full if you also need supported motorcycle, tractor or boat applications. Choose Full with Offline when you need the matching offline workstation option. Full on its own does not include offline operation, and an offline dongle cannot activate it on Auto.

The licence is the main difference—not the colour of the box or the number of cables in a photograph. Before paying, check the exact option selected in your cart. If one ECU is the reason you are buying the tool, send us its label and the operation you need first.

Which KT200II package should you buy?

Package Who it suits What to check
Auto Car and truck workshops Online operation; the required ECU/TCU driver and operation must be available.
Full without Offline Workshops needing the additional motorcycle, tractor and boat categories Broader category access, but no offline workstation option included.
Full with Offline Full users needing a compatible offline setup The order must include the matching dongle and software environment.

Auto is not an OBD-only edition. Its listed car and truck functions include Bench, Boot, BDM/JTAG and TCU work where the relevant protocol supports them. Full adds vehicle categories; it does not make every ECU readable by every connection method.

For the available order options, open our KT200II Auto and Full selection page. For the offline bundle, use the KT200II Full with Offline product page. Match the chosen variant to your intended workload rather than buying the widest edition just because its name sounds better.

What comes in the KT200II hardware kit?

The standard kit listing groups the equipment into the following items. Use these groups to check a delivery; use the written packing list for exact quantities and revisions.

  • Main hardware: KT200II master unit and Bench Box V2.
  • Vehicle and bench leads: OBD cables and the pinout/breakout lead.
  • Power and computer connection: supplied power equipment, associated leads and USB cable.
  • Small accessories: probes, resistors and Boot/BDM/JTAG-related adapters.
  • Storage: the fitted carrying case.
  • Offline option: the matching keys/dongle and software access only when included in the selected package.

Some listings describe grouped adapters as “sets.” That is not a promise of several separate power supplies. If a particular connector or adapter matters to your work, ask for its name and quantity before checkout. Do not count tiny parts from a resized gallery image.

The supplied reference photographs show a kit configuration, not a packing promise for every current option. A photographed accessory may belong to another bundle or an earlier revision. We should resolve any difference between the variant description and the gallery before you place the order.

Offline dongle, software key or promotional USB: which is it?

The KT200II Offline Workstation dongle is an option for a compatible Full-version setup. It is not an Auto-to-Full upgrade, and it is not interchangeable with an ordinary USB drive or a KTflash promotional software key.

If a photo says “GIFT KTflash software dongle,” that wording does not mean the offline workstation option is included. Look for the offline option in the selected variant and written package list. A USB key's colour is not a reliable way to identify its licence or software generation.

Offline setup can also require an initial online installation or activation. Before ordering a separate dongle, send the current KT200II edition and software generation so the option can be matched. Do not install an unrelated download simply because it also says KT200II.

Our KT200II offline dongle page is for checking that option separately. Buying it alone does not supply the main programmer, make an Auto licence Full or guarantee that every server-dependent function will work without internet.

What should you budget for separately?

Do not assume a workshop laptop, regulated vehicle power support, replacement ECU harnesses, calibration files or third-party editing software comes with the tool. An optional accessory is included only if it is named in your selected package.

Start with the jobs you actually need. An OBD task, a Bench task and a Boot task can require different preparation. The included universal leads are not permission to improvise a connection, and a larger accessory collection cannot add a missing software protocol.

If you already own KT200 equipment, do not assume its software and accessories transfer together. KT200 and KT200II use different software packages. Send a photograph and part name for any cable or adapter you want to reuse; avoid buying replacements until you know what your new order includes.

Check these details before checkout and on arrival

  1. Save the selected variant. Record Auto, Full without Offline or Full with Offline exactly as it appears in the cart.
  2. Confirm must-have jobs. Provide the vehicle details, ECU/TCU label, required operation and intended mode.
  3. Confirm optional parts. Ask about the specific adapter or offline option, not just “the complete kit.”
  4. Photograph the delivery. Keep one clear view of the complete kit and close-ups of any missing, damaged or unidentified item.

Keep small accessories in their bags until you have checked the packing list. If anything is missing or the edition is wrong, contact us before attempting a job. Include the order number, selected variant and photographs. Share device serial numbers privately, not in a public review.

Two questions buyers often miss

Does Full mean all vehicles are supported?

No. Full expands the licensed categories. Your particular ECU still needs the correct driver, operation and mode. Use our KT200 and KT200II support-list checking guide to prepare a useful compatibility request.

Can I add Offline to Auto later?

Auto must first have the appropriate Full entitlement. Send your current edition and software version before ordering the upgrade and dongle. That lets us identify the required options without guessing from the casing.

Still choosing? Send the product link, selected variant and ECU labels through our contact page. For a broader edition comparison, read the KT200II Auto, Full and Offline guide.
